Define access to wishlists
You can choose to require customers to log in before creating a wishlist on your store.
If account login is required: A non-logged-in customer can add products to their wishlist but will need to log in or create an account to view and manage their list. Once logged in, they will be able to create, modify, and share their lists freely.
If account login is not required: Customers can add products and view their list without needing to log in.
Go to the Settings page
In the Customer account section, check the Login required box
Click Save
Adding products with variants
You can choose to add either the variant of a product directly or just the parent product to the wishlist.

Features of a wishlist
To help you better understand what the application offers to your customers, this section outlines the actions a customer can perform on a wishlist, as well as the steps to create one. These features provide flexible and intuitive wishlist management.
The creation of a wishlist depends on whether the visitor is logged in or not, and whether the multi-wishlist mode is enabled.
Logged-out visitor: They can add products to their favorites, but access to their list depends on the wishlist configuration settings. Additionally, a non-logged-in visitor cannot create multiple wishlists.
Logged-in visitor: a logged-in visitor can directly add products to their wishlist
Multi-wishlist mode disabled: favorite products are automatically added to the existing wishlist. If no wishlist exists, a new one is created
Multi-wishlist mode enabled: each time a product is added to favorites, the visitor can select an existing wishlist or create a new one
From the multi-wishlist page or a specific wishlist, your customers can:
For a wishlist to receive contributions, ensure that the Allow contributions option is enabled in the app settings.
If the Automatically enable contributions option is not enabled, the list creator must manually enable contributions for each of their lists.
To access a wishlist, you must either receive an email invitation or have the sharing link.
Once these two conditions are met, friends can contribute to the wishlist:
In a shared wishlist, hover over a product and click Contribute
Enter the amount or use the arrows to set your contribution, then click Create
A badge will appear on the product to indicate your contribution, along with the amount contributed.
To finalize your contribution, click Go to payment
At this stage, you will see the name of the wishlist and the products you are contributing to.
The option to add a product image to the wishlist can be enabled in the app's configuration.
Once the contribution is confirmed, the wishlist creator receives an email via Klaviyo (see how to activate this option here). They can then withdraw the contribution.
Contributions are securely processed through Shopify's Payment Service Provider (PSP).

Use cases
How merchants put Wonder Wishlist to work, step by step.
Contributions on very active stores — On a store with more than fifty paid contributions, a new contribution could stay unattached to its wishlist and never show up in the pool. Every paid contribution is now attached to its wishlist within minutes. See Contributing to a wishlist.
5.0.5
Improvement
Common title bar in the admin — Every page of the app now opens under the same title bar, with a breadcrumb back to the Wonder Wishlist home and the title of the page.
Bug fix
Only captured payments count in the pool — A contribution that was only authorized, not yet captured, was counted as paid and could be turned into a gift card. The pool now only counts captured payments: a pending authorization or a refund stays out of it, and the withdrawal as a gift card is protected against being sent twice. See Withdraw the contribution.
